Pro Paintball Merger in the works
Rumors have surfaced indicating that a NPPL pro paintball team and a top PSP semi pro paintball team are set to merge. Read on for the latest pro paintball news and rumors.
NPPL Pro Paintball team Indianapolis Mutiny is rumored to be merging with PSP semi-pro paintball team RNT Allstarz for the upcoming Chicago paintball events. Insiders speculate that if successful, this merger could potentially continue throughout the remainder of the 2010 pro paintball season. Damien Ryan from RNT has been playing with Chicago Legend in the NPPL series and we wonder on which side he will end up. Also, propaintball insiders are curious which guns the players will be shooting at the pro paintball events. Mutiny has been shooting angel paintball guns while Jerry and his RNT Allstarz have been shooting macdev paintball guns (RNT is a macdev factory team).

Promise you they will shoot MacDev. No doubt about it. As for the merger, not such a bad idea alot of those kids on Mutiny have talent. They all came from an Xball background…
I’m not really sure what your talking about but the majority of the team come from a deep rooted 7 man background (farside and NTK). And I havn’t heard a word about this merger so I’m pretty sure its false.

they may bring angels but they’ll all break and end up shooting droids and clones and RX’s when they don’t have any other guns
Don’t sell the Angels short- they stand up to incredible punishment in my hometown, while every guy with macdev spends his life repairing the thing. Just watch, the macdev will break in two before a fly dies

I wonder what guns they are going to shoot both guns are really nice but with one of the teams being a factory team I think they are going to end up shooting those guns

Mutiny is a true 7-man team. Most players played on NTK Aftershock and Lanch. Merger is an interesting idea.
im sure this rumor came about due to Tommy O, Childers, and Delgado playing Pheonix with RNT. There is no doubt as long as Jerry has his hands in the works RNT will remain a macdev factory team.
If i recall correctly Tholey has played for RNT in the past as well and theres a video from Damien after the Mutiny tryout back in January…
As for a merger i can see a few more of the players jumping onto RNT’s lineup but i believe Tholeys pretty much set for playing the full PSP season with XSV so it couldnt be a complete merge of programs. either way both these teams are super talented and everyone should expect to see some legit performances on both ends in both series.
