New England Hurricanes Sign With Dye Precision
Dye Announced today the New England Hurricanes signed a multi-year contract to use Dye gear for the 2010 season and at least 2011. This will put the Hurricanes in C10 pants and jerseys as well as using the new Dye NT paintball gun. This year has been a major rebuilding year for the Hurricanes, they have picked up many news players this year, and are looking to gain experience and chemistry this year. Dye is sponsoring a lot of teams this year from all over the world. With teams like the Ironmen, and Damage picking up the Hurricanes only adds to Dye impressive line up of teams.

We’re all very happy to be using the c10 dye gear and the shooting the nts. Dye has always made amazing stuff and we to thank them for supporting the hurricanes

Is it just me, or is dye taking over? It’ll be a sad day for paintball when one company gets all the teams and the rest dye (pun intended)out.

I don’t think that’s the case, eclipse turned it’s back on alot of teams this year because they got dynasty and there wasn’t much leftover for anyone else. Companies eager to pick up brand name teams stepped in and filled the gap. You can’t blame eclipse, they did what they thought was best for them. Dye is 4x the size of eclipse, so they have more to spread around. With the case of the hurricanes I’m sure dye is trying to tear down the last remaining eclipse fortress and that’s their headquarters in a little state called rhode island. I think if dye can manage to take new england it would be very humiliating to planet. I would hate to be the guy in the U.S. Calling England and telling them “ya N.E. Just got over run by dye.” kinda funny something like that happened a few hundred years ago in new England and it just so happened to include the British.
How do you figure that Dye is 4x the size of Eclipse?
I think NE is going to get crushed this year. its really hard to rebuild and expect to do well. i am loooking forward to seeing them play but they might surprise me. but cool picking up dye.

you obviously havent been seeing them play lately. teams got a good mix of guys with pro and upper divisional experience, and then guys without as much experience, but definitely have the talent to succeed. going to be a force to be reckoned with in D1.

Especially when you have 4 or 5 pro players on the roster. That sounds like sandbagging to me
I dont think Dye is going to be taking over NE just cause a shitty D1 team is using the NT. its pretty retarded for people to buy a gun just cause a team is using it. use what you like
they probably will step on their on dicks at the next event and wont even make top 4 in D1

We have no players on the roster ranked pro.
We have one player ranked Semi-Pro.
We have one player who played the 2009 season with NEH.
We have two players who each played 1 event with the team last year.
We have two other players who each played 3 events in D1.
Hardly sandbagging.
