Yesterday we featured a rumor that indicated DLX would be returning to the market. As promised, Darryl Trent from DLX and his press team sent over the latest news from the DLX Technology Group. Read on for the official release, exclusive to PROpaintball.com.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

May 25, 2010 – Following recent announcements by Smart Parts, Inc.,
DLX Technology Group, manufacturer of the LUXE premium tournament
paintball marker is locating new component manufacturers to continue
its product line.

Each potential new component manufacturer is being evaluated to ensure
that it conforms with DLX’s strict quality management standards and
can maintain full documentation of quality checks as each part moves
from raw materials to finished component.

“Quality is critical,” said DLX director Darryl Trent. “Players
quickly adopted the LUXE not only because of its first-ever features
like voice-menu electronics and self-venting valve system that can be
stripped in under 10 seconds, but also because of the quality
craftsmanship that gives it uncompromising consistency and reliability
on the field.”

The process is moving quickly, with product deliveries scheduled for
fall 2010.

Developed as a focused high-end design and manufacturing group, DLX
Technology is dedicated to melding cutting edge technology with solid
tournament performance to build the ultimate luxury paintball marker.

It’ll be interesting to see which pro teams switch back to luxes once DLX is fully operational

  2. ya says:

And what new guns or improvements they make. I think it almost hints at a new version in time for cup…

  3. Baker says:

I wounded if the AA will be back

  4. Federov88 says:

DLX will probably sponsor teams for next season. I’m happy I never sold my Luxe. It’s been the best marker I’ve ever owned. I spoke to Daryl in PSP Phoenix and he told me a updated, second gen, Luxe was coming next season and that DLX was still fully operational. Can’t wait to see it.

  5. 76Chance says:

I too was at PSP Phoenix. Darryl told a kid standing next to me that he was hoping for the new platform to be out at Wold Cup. I can’t wait to see it!

  6. lolshockers says:

Quality and that overgrown shocker in same paragraph. :D

  7. The South African says:

And so it rises out of the ashes- I really thought it was gone. Be interesting if the new platform is from GI Milsim. 50cal… like the rest of Smart Parts’ remains

  8. kalioner says:

wow…now will it cost more than the DYE NT…ima go with YES

  9. ashock says:

will you be manufacture the freak inserts i love them and want them to be made again

  10. YES says:

The Luxe was by far my favorite gun to shoot. I’m excited to come back to DLX once they are full fledged.

I’m really looking forward to the new Luxe. Maybe it’ll sport higher efficiency. That would truly make this the best gun on the market. The Dye NT and Macdev Clone are nice, but nowhere near as smooth as a Luxe.

    WELCOME BACK

  11. D says:

no one is asking the big question… WHO is/will manufacturing that gun?
SP was… now that SP is gone, could it be made by the last independent Big paintball company (if you need a hint, you are fired!) ???

  12. Kyle says:

Rumor has it DYE will be the manufactur. But when the new LUXE comes out I am getting the first gen. :D

  13. 91.3 WHJE Radio TJ says:

I spoke with Adam from Mutiny and he said that there is a good chance that Mutiny will go back to Luxes. MW!

  14. Jordan says:

Did they outsource the manufacturing or is it made in America still?

  15. trevor says:

    prepare to get luxed!!!!
