Back in 2005 we witnessed a paintball rivalry unlike any other. Pro paintball teams Sacramento XSV and San Diego Dynasty were at the top of their game and the battles between the two teams always kept us on the edge of our seats. While browsing Vimeo this morning we stumbled on a piece of pro paintball history, XSV matched up against Dynasty at the NPPL Miami event in 2005. Special thanks to Traumahead Sports for putting the footage together and placing it online for our continued enjoyment.

World Cup and NPPL Commanders Cup back to back. The only thing that came between them was a hurricane. Wowwwww.
If I remember correctly, city officials were attempting to prevent the NPPL from running the event due to “heavy flooding”. Funny thing was, no one was able to find any sign of flooding on the event grounds. Elected officials are such babies.

I remember seeing tons of rep’s and suits at the event. Redbull, ESPN, HBO, Bawls and a few others. So much potential.
I miss 2005.
I would do dirty things to get my hands on ollies shocker.
