the pics are cool… the event sucked big time! That ain’t a National league nor a “World Championship”… that was a decent local event.

  2. TheRussian says:

Why is Entourage holding up an Empire banner, all the pro team may be all Empire, Entourage never made the switch. Politics I guess.

He shut the fuck up. You know not what you speak of. Stand down.

@ The one: “I know not what i speak of” ?!?! ah ah ah!!! i went to move paintball events this year than you had in your entire life.
I can tell you that 2 fields and 39 7Man teams (not counting the Pros) never ever qualify for a “National” event… unless by National you mean “that takes place on US soil”.

  5. William says:

Who was on the HK roster for this event? It looked like there were some aftermath players in the pics.

  6. national events says:

National events are NOT judged on the size of the event…but the LEVEL of competition, and the participation from teams from ALL over the country. This event was a NATIONAL event with teams from all over.
The fact that turnout was not that high does not change the status of the event from a National to a regional event,…sorry.
Also, one of the BEST events i ever attended was the FIRST NPPL event in the early 90′s in Chicago.
It was ONLY the top PRO teams basically, and the event was great. It was the beginning of the first purely PRO division, and ran smoothly and on time.
It wasnt the size of the Masters, or the World cup, but was a great tournament,..the quality of competition was great and the fact that it was significantly smaller then other national events did not diminish its National Professional league status.
I admit it appears that there are HUGE problems with the USPL tourney series from all reports, but the participation is at a National level.
The number of fields and number of teams IS NOT the determining factor on whether something is national or regional.
