Rumor of the day: Riley Sullivan – back in the game
While we were wandering around the USPL West Coast Open trying to dig up the latest paintball news, we stumbled upon former Oakland BLAST and Less Than Zero player Riley Sullivan who was hanging out at the BLAST tent. Riley had stopped by to cheer on his former teammates on Oakland BLAST and watched them battle their way into the finals. Riley, a big fan of Pro Paintball dot Com, let us know that he would be rejoining the pro division. Check out the latest details after the jump..
When asked about his absence from paintball, Riley mentioned that among other things he was busy working throughout the season and couldn’t wait to get back in the game. Riley broke the news that although he was not sure who with, he would be rejoining the pro ranks starting with World Cup 2009 and continuing on for the 2010 season.
Now, knowing that Riley was back was only half of it and we had to figure out who he was playing with. After inquiring, credible sources suggest that Riley Sullivan will be joining pro veterans Rich Telford, Junior Brown, and Sacramento XSV in the battle for World Cup 2009..

nobody cares about riley
Judging by his level of play this past weekend and the response in the comments..well I think your mistaken.
Riley is a crazy player and I can’t wait to see him play with XSV at Cup. He will definitely help the team step it up.

Riles is still one of the best out there regardless of down time….watchout cuz ol’ snapshot is back and starving for a feast…don’t be his meal.
I know most guys might not recognize the name, but I remember Riley as a solid player. It appeared that he was going to play with Dynasty in ’08, but I’m not sure got in the way of that.
Riley is a gifted athlete, a proven pro caliber player, and somebody I’d have on my team any day!

Good to hear hes back and should be interesting with him in black and yellow jersey now. Love watchin him run the field.
from what I recollect, the guy was always a real asshole (on and off the field). He also jewed one of my friends by not delivering a jersey won on ebay based on the price not meeting his “threshold”. He wrote my friend a message stating, ” Unfortunately, my house burnt down this past weekend. Due to astronomical losses, I can’t let that jersey go for the price at which you won it. I will be re-posting it later this week and you can rebid at that time. Best regards, Riley.” Not cool!
