Why is everyone touting Richmond's return as the second coming? I have to say 8 years ago, Richmond KILLED paintball as i love it with his X-ball nonsense. Saying paintball is getting back to it's roots? Please it is just another opportunity for Richmond to stuff his pockets.

I must have missed the point where the weekend / d4, etc. level player complained about the size of the paintball. Pro-level players will have their equipment provided so it shouldn't really matter about the caliber of the ball to them. To the average, serious weekend player who owns over $2000 worth of guns and backup guns, this change to a .50 caliber will seriously limit their ability to play.

I just don't see enough of an upside to change the caliber of the ball.
