NCPA Purdue Final’s & Ben Johnson Photos
The competition within college paintball is heating up! Pro and semi pro players alike have been enrolling in universities across the nation and joining school-funded paintball programs to make the most of their college experience. In back to back years, pro players have helped lead their respective teams to victory. This years college x-ball champions Purdue University were joined by Adam Geis of Indianapolis Mutiny (formerly of Avalanche). Speaking from personal experience, competing in college paintball has been a great opportunity to earn credit towards graduation while working towards my degree. We had the opportunity to catch up with Adam Geist before his final match and asked him about his college experience. Take a look below..

HEY ADAM, YOU’RE GOING TO HAVE A LOT MORE TIME TO PLAY WITH PURDUE ONCE THE USPL CROAKS
We all appreciate your foresight and positive attitude. Guys like you do a great job of making tournament paintball look legitimate to the outside world. Any random person or sponsor checking this site out can’t help but run across 10-20 super negative comments about teams, players, leagues, etc. every day. If you took half the effort you put into nay-saying on this site into introducing new players to the game or helping out existing ones you’d actually make a positive impact on something. Pretty sad.
Tommy is dead on. Adam did a great thing for the sport by simply taking the time out of day to shed a positive light on paintball. NCPA is well structure and run extremely well. There may not be prizes like other tournament serious but it is still a great way for the sport has a whole to gain exposure to those outside of the industry. Goodluck to Mutiny in D.C.
